A Look Inside the Program

The training in this course focuses on developing the mediumistic ability to work with more complex communicators and recipients in private and public forums. You will work with

  • learn to access the power and deeper levels of attunement needed to facilitate authentic communication

  • learn to blend with communicators and truly listen to what they want to say

  • work with the art of storytelling as understood by a storyteller to reveal the nuances and richness that exist behind every detail

  • practice giving meaningful and profound messages that are healing for the recipient and the communicator

  • learning to identify when you are receiving psychic vs spirit information with confidence

  • engage in fun mediumship exercises with the loved ones of other students on Spirit Space

Meet Your Mentor

Using the immense power of mediumship to heal the heart, progressive Irish medium and best-selling author of Till Death Don’t Us Part, Karen Frances McCarthy CSNU strives to provide comfort in your time of need. She blends the Celtic mysticism of her upbringing with the loving-kindness of her Buddhist practice to bring messages of joy, healing, and support from your loved ones in spirit form. She offers healing mediumship and soul readings to restore harmony and well-being to your body, mind, and spirit.

An advocate of mediumship's ethical practice and healing potential, Karen underwent years of intensive training at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College in England and holds three Certificates of Recognition in mediumship, spiritual healing and public speaking from its governing body, the Spiritualist National Union.

As a teacher, she is inspired by her father, an Olympic Coach, who taught her to pursue excellence in teaching and help every student be the best they can be. Today, she teaches at the Shift Network, the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre, the Edgar Cayce Center, and the One Spirit Learning Alliance. She is a guest lecturer with the Global Afterlife Group in Australia. Her courses are also available to stream on Humanity’s Team.

She is a doctoral researcher studying the postsecular spirit at the University of Birmingham in England, a member of the prestigious Russell Group of Research Universities.

  • Prerequisites: Mediumship Foundations, Expansion, or Presence (Live or Masterclass). If you did not take these courses live, you can access the Masterclass on-demand and find practice partners in Spirit Space.

  • If you miss a class or are in a different time zone, a recording of each gathering will be available for 7 days after the live event. You can join the Spirit Space private student Facebook group chat to find practice partners, share your experiences, and ask questions

  • Our safe and supportive community is great for experimenting with practical exercises and having fun unfolding your spiritual power. You'll practice in breakout rooms with only one or two other people, so there is no need for stage fright!  Sharing is encouraged but optional

  • You can use a phone or computer with either a built-in or plug in camera and mic. Classes are in a simple Zoom room.  Just click the link we email you, and you will be taken into the room with the rest of us - like magic!

  • Unfortunately, places are strictly limited to ensure a high level and quality of teaching that offers everyone the attention they need. Therefore, all bookings are final. Please read our terms of service (classes & workshops) before booking.
